Poor storage will ruin beautiful fruit. Once the fruit leaves the farm, how do you know that each pallet, each carton is being transported at the right temperature? Obtaining accurate results for a specific pallet or a specific carton is difficult. The container on the truck may have a display. This display often registers the temperature of one section of air, which is normally the return air. This does not give an accurate reading of a pallet.

A temperature logger placed on a pallet, in a pallet, or in a carton will record the temperature of that area, so that you can record the temperature of that fruit. When the fruit reaches its destination, the results can be downloaded so that you can see how well the fruit has been treated during transport
