Roach Coach Food Safety

You know what I mean. Those mobile sources of culinary delight. The food vans.

My brother works in one. He keeps on complaining on how the inspectors are all over them.

I’m happy with that. It’s nice to know.

But I suspect that it is because you can be seen to be tough on food safety on businesses that are only temporary.

It is a bit more difficult to crack down on the local café or restaurant, because bad publicity is bad for local business.

So it may well be the case that the infamous roach coach may one day be the safest place to eat. Now I just have to track one down for dinner this Saturday.
