Temtrol are located in George Town.
Temtrol Technologies Pty Ltd is a Tasmanian owned and operated company formed in August 1998 with the merging of Temptrol Technologies and Tamar Electrical. The organisation employs approximately twenty two personnel and operates via three strategic business units:
- Electrical Contracting
- Temperature Sensor Manufacturing
- Instrumentation, Automation, and Safety Sales
Electrical Contracting

The electrical contracting division operates primarily in the George Town / Bell Bay area. The division operates as an industrial electrical specialist but has two electrical / instrumentation Technicians on staff who enable the division to offer assistance in areas outside the electrical field.
Thermocouple and RTD Manufacturing
The manufacturing division designs and produces a range of high quality thermocouple and RTD temperature sensors from its quality controlled facility. The division holds several industrial contracts within the state and prides itself on its high level of quality product and service. The division offers temperature sensors in many different styles and formats and specialises in designing the best available sensor for the application.
Instrumentation, Automation and Safety Sales
The instrumentation, automation and safety sales division operates a statewide service representing many quality organisations and offers the provision of solid technical knowledge to ensure the right product is supplied to suit the required application.
OH & S Policy
Temtrol Technologies maintains a high commitment to OH&S to ensure the safety of its valued staff and clients. This commitment is enhanced by Temtrol becoming certified “SAFETY MAP 4” in 2002.
Temtrol changed to AS4801 and became accredited in July 2011.
